Dual uses of nuclear energy in a seminar held by the Department of Radiology Techniques at Alnoor University

 The Department of Radiologic Technologies organized College of Health and Medical Technologies,In cooperation with the University’s Continuing Education Center, on the morning of Saturday, 2026/4/11, a scientific seminar entitled:
Dual-Use Applications of Nuclear Energy: A Comprehensive Scientific Perspective
She delivered a lecture in it Professor Dr. Hanaa Ihsan Albaroudi ,Head of the Department of Radiologic Technologies, where she addressed in her lecture the most prominent aspects related to the peaceful uses of nuclear energy, along with the challenges and risks associated with its misuse, highlighting the role of modern technologies in achieving a balance between scientific benefit and ensuring safety.
The seminar also discussed the applications of nuclear energy in the medical field, particularly in diagnosis and radiation therapy, as well as its uses in industry and agriculture, while emphasizing the importance of adhering to international standards for radiation protection.
