Alnoor University Continues the Volunteer Psychological First Aid Team Training Program for the Second Day

The Department of Clinical Psychology continued its College of arts, Alnoor University Holds Activities for the Second Day of the First Course for Preparing Members of the Volunteer Psychological First Aid Team, as part of a training program aimed at preparing qualified students to provide psychological first aid in accordance with recognized scientific principles and standards, thereby enhancing the university’s role in serving the community and supporting humanitarian response during crises and emergencies.
The second day’s sessions witnessed a high level of engagement from the participants. The training covered the concept and objectives of Psychological First Aid (PFA), as well as the basic principles of dealing with individuals affected by crises. The sessions also focused on developing effective communication skills, supportive listening, and providing psychological support in a manner that preserves individuals’ dignity and takes into account their psychological and humanitarian needs.
This program is part of Alnoor University’s vision to prepare students with the scientific and human skills needed to contribute to supporting the community, foster a culture of volunteerism and social responsibility, and reflect the University’s commitment to its academic and humanitarian mission.
