Al-Azzawi chairs a discussion committee at Duhok University.

Dr. Mohammed Basil Qasim Al-Azzawi, a professor in the English Language Department at the College of Education, Al-Noor University, chaired a discussion committee for the postgraduate student for master's degree, Duaa Ihsan Abdullah, on her thesis submitted to Duhok University. The thesis was titled "Differences in the Pragmatic Competence between the Badini Kurdish EFL and ESL Learners of English for Expressions of Requests and Refusals." The discussion took place on Thursday, 18/4/2024. The committee included Assistant Professor Dr. Qusay Abdul-Munim Ahmed from Nawroz University, Assistant Professor Dr. Fakhir Ammar Mohammed from Zakho University, and Assistant Professor Dr. Saeed Idris Saeed from Duhok University.
