As part of the ongoing preparations for Mosul Heritage Day, organized by Al-Noor University and Baytna Foundation, the cultural arm of Al-Noor University, the Preparatory Committee conducted a site visit to the Old City on the evening of Sunday, 23/6/2024. All committee members were present to inspect the locations designated for the various events, including the main stage and the seating area for attendees. The committee provided guidance on the setup of this area, where local, Iraqi, Arab, and international forums and artistic performances will be held. The committee also toured the area near the minaret, where they inspected the traditional houses allocated for showcasing crafts and cultural activities. Additionally, they reviewed the spaces prepared for art exhibitions, both visual and photographic, as well as for bazaars.
