On the third day of the United Nations simulation workshop, the third session of the Model United Nations for Iraqi Youth was held on the morning of Wednesday, July 24, 2024, in Al-Qimma Hall in Mosul's forests. The event was attended by several notable figures, including
UN Secretary-General's representative in Iraq
the representative of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Iraq
the representative of the World Health Organization (WHO)
and Professor Dr. Yassin Taha Al-Hajjar, President of Al-Noor University, which is a supporter and partner in the workshop and conference.
Also present were Abdullah Atheel, a member of the Provincial Council
the representative of the Sama Hammurabi Legal Office as a partner
Sumaya Al-Khabouri, member of the Provincial Council
representative of the Ministry of Youth and Sports
and several representatives and members of local organizations, along with prominent community figures and participating students from Al-Noor University.
It is worth noting that the first two days featured a preparatory workshop hosted at Al-Noor University, while the third day was dedicated to the conference. The activities will continue with a four-day training workshop.
