Alnoor University's Quality Assurance and University Performance Department, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Division, hosted a workshop on the environmental impact of medical waste. The workshop took place on Monday morning, October 14, 2024, with Dr. Nazim Alawi Al-Shahri, Director of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department, and Omar Shihab Ahmed from the same department serving as lecturers.
Alnoor University is committed to environmental sustainability and has established a medical waste incinerator to minimize the impact of waste generated by its medical and health colleges and departments. This aligns with the university's broader efforts to create an environmentally friendly campus.
