The seminars at Alnoor University continue to focus on drug prevention and addiction.

As part of the Iraqi Week for Drug Prevention, Alnoor University organized a seminar on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, on the topic of "The Psychological, Health, and Social Effects of Drug and Psychoactive Substance Use."
This seminar was hosted by the university's Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance, under the supervision of the department director, Dr. Ahmed Saeed Rashid, and in collaboration with Dr. Maarib Hameed Ahmed, who delivered lectures on psychological disorders as a cause of drug addiction, the health effects of drugs, treatment methods for drug users, and the social consequences of drug use.
