Alnoor University concludes its activities for the Drug Prevention Week with a discussion on the issue of drugs from both a Sharia and legal perspective.

As part of the Iraqi Week for Drug Prevention, the College of Law at Alnoor University held a seminar on Wednesday morning, December 4, 2024, focusing on the issue of drugs from both a Sharia and legal perspective. The seminar was supervised by Assistant Lecturer Qaidar Ahmed Mahmoud from the College of Law. The speakers included Mr. Falah Mahdi Saleh, Director of Media at the Nineveh Anti-Drug Directorate, who discussed the Directorate's role in combating drugs and psychoactive substances and curbing their spread; Assistant Lecturer Raed Shinkali, who addressed the impact of digital drugs; and Assistant Lecturer Amjad Sharif, who spoke about drugs from both Sharia and legal perspectives. The seminar was moderated by Assistant Professor Dr. Fares Ahmed Al-Dulaimi.
