faculty members from Alnoor University oppose violence against women and raise orange banners in support.

Under the sponsorship of Professor Dr. Yaseen Taha Al-Hajjar, President of Alnoor University, and under the supervision of Dr. Wala' Abdulwahid Al-Jawadi, Head of the Women's Affairs Division, and in cooperation with the Women's Affairs Unit at the College of Education for Pure Sciences,
the "Posters for Educating and Motivating to Combat Violence Against Women" campaign was held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.
The campaign included the participation of Dr. Wala' Abdulwahid Al-Jawadi from the College of Pharmacy at Alnoor University, Assistant Professor Dr. Mona Taher Al-Nofji from the College of Health and Medical Technologies , Assistant Professor Dr. Sajida Sharif from the College of Health and Medical Technologies, and Dr. Zina Dbayyan Mohammed Zaki from the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Mosul.
The campaign included distributing posters with motivational and awareness-raising phrases to empower women, strengthen their self-confidence, and promote their role in society, as they constitute a large part of society and bear heavy responsibilities in working for the community as doctors, lawyers, engineers, teachers, and writers. Women are fundamental in creating a conscious generation that overcomes all challenges. They represent strength, determination, creativity, and an inexhaustible contribution to all fields of life.
The orange badges, symbolizing the fight against violence against women,
were distributed, along with orange-colored flowers and bracelets. The campaign activities were carried out in the gardens and courtyards of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, where they were distributed to students.
