Translation of King Abdullah’s Speeches in the Context of His Media Image
The paper examines the media and rhetorical image of Arab leaders' speeches, using King Abdullah of Jordan’s speeches as a case study. This focus is due to King Abdullah's proficiency in both Arabic and English, speaking English fluently as a native-like speaker. The study also delves into the construction of the rhetorical and media image in these speeches and the impact of bilingualism on the quality of translation.
The research was published in the RUDN Journal of Studies in Literature and Journalism, a Russian journal indexed in Scopus (Q3).
