First Research Session of the Second International Scientific Conference on Law at Alnoor University

The first research session of the Second International Scientific Conference on Law, titled "The Role of Legislation in Achieving Legal Security," was held on the morning of Tuesday, February 11, 2025. The session was chaired by Professor Ajiad Thamer Al-Dulaimi, assisted by Assistant Lecturer Zainab Ahmed Abdul Hamid as the session rapporteur. Five research papers were presented: "The Policy of Criminalization and Punishment in Special Penal Laws and Its Impact on Legal Security" by Assistant Professor Talal Abdul Hussein Al-Badrani and Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Diyab Satam; "Criminal Legal Security" by Assistant Professor Mithaq Ghazi Faisal; "The Impact of Judicial Precedent Stability on the Stability of Civil Transactions" by Assistant Professor Suhaib Amer Salem and Lecturer Dr. Hudhaifa Raad Ali; "The Role of Contract Interpretation Rules in Achieving Sustainable Legal Security in Iraqi Civil Law: A Comparative Analytical Study with French and English Law" by Lecturer Dr. Younis Salahuddin Ali; and "The Role of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights in Enhancing Legal Security" by Lecturer Dr. Amer Hadi Abdullah and Dr. Nagham Luqman Mohammed.
