. Asst. Prof. Dr. Omer Qutaiba Allela Dean of the College of Pharmacy at Alnoor University, attended the scientific symposium organized by the College of Pharmacy at the University of Nineveh on Monday, February 17, 2025, under the title "The Iraqi Pharmaceutical Industry." The event coincided with the conclusion of the first training course for industrial pharmacists and was held under the patronage and presence of the President of the University of Nineveh, Professor Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Nineveh, Assistant Professor Dr. Moyssar Al-Qutaji, with the participation of academic and professional figures in the field of pharmacy.
The symposium featured a scientific session that included two lectures, along with a video presentation illustrating the role of industrial pharmacists in advancing the pharmaceutical sector.
Additionally, a discussion session was held, addressing ways to enhance partnerships between academic institutions and the pharmaceutical industry to contribute to the development of Iraq’s pharmaceutical sector.
The event concluded with the presentation of commemorative shields to distinguished individuals, officials, and speakers.
