A faculty member from the College of Technical Management at Alnoor University delivered a lecture in a seminar on the International Development Road.

As part of the Iraqi government's initiative to prioritize the International Development Road project, Alnoor University participated in the 60th scientific symposium organized by the Center for Regional Studies at the University of Mosul on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, under the title: "Iraq and the International Development Road: Political, Economic, and Strategic Significance."

During the opening session, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nawal Kasim Ali Al-Shahwan , a faculty member in the Department of Accounting Technologies at College of Technical Management at Alnoor University, delivered a lecture during the opening session titled: "The Development Road: From a Submerged Tunnel to the Geopolitical Trade Clouds in Iraq’s Development."
The symposium aimed to monitor, study, and analyze the dimensions of the International Development Road project and its importance for Iraq and the region in terms of political, economic, and strategic aspects. It also sought to explore the project's potential paths and phases of completion, assess its impact on the Iraqi economy, and identify the infrastructure required to support it by evaluating the current state of infrastructure and the necessary improvements and additions, as well as projecting its anticipated influence on the national economy.
