A Graduate and a Student from Alnoor University Receive First Prize for Their Film at an Iraqi Festival

The film "Once Upon a Time in Mosul" won the First Documentary Film Award at the International Iraqi Film Festival for Youth Films, out of more than 70 participating films. It was directed by Abdullah Khalid, a graduate of Alnoor University, and edited by Mohamed Khalid, a second-year student in the Digital Media Department at the College of Arts at Al-Noor University. The story of the film reflects the struggle of its protagonist, Ghanem, who is the last remaining cinema operator in the city of Mosul, as he screens the final film of his life.
Abdullah Khalid, a graduate of Alnoor University, directed the film, while Mohamed Khalid, a second-year student in the Digital Media Department at the College of Arts College of Arts at Al-Noor University, edited it.
