A research team from Alnoor University has published a scientific paper in an American journal indexed in Scopus, classified as Q2.

A research team from Alnoor University, consisting of Asst. Prof. Ismail Abdulwahhab Ismail Vice President of Alnoor University for Scientific Affairs Asst. Prof. Mohammed Zuhair Zaidan Director of the Department of Cultural Relations at the University Presidency; and Assistant Lecturer Raed Sabah Qasim, a faculty member in the Department of English, has published a paper titled "The Impact of Control-Value Theory on Iraqi Students’ Satisfaction with the Effectiveness of Literary Translation" in the American journal "International Journal of Innovative Research and Scientific Studies (IJIRSS)." The journal is indexed in Scopus and classified as Q2, with a CiteScore of 2.1.
The study highlights the influence of Control-Value Theory (CVT) on the relationship between enjoyment of translation, academic performance, and the use of translation techniques among Iraqi students. It also emphasizes that enjoyment in translation enhances performance and the effective selection of strategies, thereby calling for the development of organizational processes to ensure better outcomes.
This achievement represents a qualitative addition to the academic and research fields and reflects the outstanding scientific efforts made by the researchers in advancing translation studies and promoting the quality of higher education.
