"The Little Muezzin" — A competition in which the voices of contestants resonate through the halls of Alnoor University.

In the blessed days of the month of Ramadan, and in the presence of Dr. Bashar Mahmoud, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Alnoor University,Dr. Ismail Abdulwahhab Ismail Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, and a representative of the Sunni Endowment in Nineveh, the qualifying rounds of the “Little Muezzin” competition were held at Alnoor University on the evening of Tuesday, March 25, 2025. The competition was organized by the Sunni Endowment Directorate in Nineveh with the support of Alnoor University. Alnoor University hosted a large iftar banquet after the Maghrib prayer. The qualifying rounds began with two opening speeches—one from Alnoor University and the other from the Sunni Endowment. Following the speeches, the contestants competed in the qualifiers, which also included a special segment featuring religious chants (munshidat). The final part of the celebration was dedicated to distributing participation certificates to all participants and certificates and prizes to the winners.
