Faculty Member from Alnoor University Participates in a Regional Symposium for Heads of French Language Departments

Assistant Professor Asst. Prof. Mohammed Zuhair Zaidan, a faculty member in the Department of Translation College of arts participated in the regional symposium for heads of French language departments and language centers in the Middle East, organized by the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF), held from April 9 to 11, 2025, in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
The symposium program included a series of lectures and workshops aimed at highlighting the mechanisms and techniques used in teaching and learning the French language, as well as ways to develop them in order to encourage interest in learning the language, especially at a time when French language departments and language centers in general are witnessing a significant decline in the number of applicants. More than 50 representatives from universities, most of which are members of the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie in the Middle East, are attending the symposium.
