Alnoor University Hosts Directors of Student Activities from Universities and Colleges in Nineveh Governorate

On Sunday morning, April 13, 2025, Alnoor University hosted a coordination meeting for the heads of student activities departments and units from public and private universities and colleges across Nineveh Governorate. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Hassanain Basim Qasim, Director of the Student Activities Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, who announced the expansion of operational divisions into five distinct units: Sports Activities, Artistic Activities, Cultural Activities, Scouting, and Voluntary Work. The session included a review of the current state of student activities in Nineveh’s institutions, discussion of field-related challenges, and the proposal of new avenues for advancing student engagement and development. Also in attendance were the heads of the Sports Activities Division and the Artistic and Cultural Activities Division from the Ministry's Student Activities Department.
