As part of the ongoing scientific collaboration and academic development, the Department of Translation at the College of arts in coordination with the Department of English Language at the College of Education. at Alnoor University, organized a scientific visit to the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Center
at University of Mosul on Monday, April 21, 2025
The visit aimed to familiarize students with the international IELTS testing system, its components, and the registration process. Additionally, the visit highlighted the importance of the test in both academic and professional journeys. The students also had a tour of the center’s facilities and participated in a discussion session with the specialized staff about the language skills required and the optimal preparation strategies for the test.
The students showed great engagement and interest in the information provided, expressing their appreciation for this experience, which enhanced their awareness of the importance of international language proficiency tests in the fields of translation and education.
This visit is part of a series of scientific activities that both departments are committed to organizing, aiming to support students' skills and broaden their academic and professional horizons.
