Dr. Tarek Ahmed Abed, Faculty Member at Alnoor University, Participates in the
4th Multi-disciplinary oncology course
where he served as the chair of one of the sessions and delivered a lecture on breast cancer. The course took place at the College of Medicine, University of Nineveh, over three days, starting from April 20, 2025.
Dr. Tarek Ahmed Abed is a graduate of the College of Medicine, University of Mosul, in 2000. He earned a Master's degree in Radiology from the University of London in 2009, with distinction. In 2010, he worked as a visiting researcher in radiation studies at the Dresden University of Applied Sciences in Germany.
 He later became a lecturer in clinical oncology, specializing in radiology at the College of Medicine, University of Mosul.
 Dr. Abed holds a PhD in Radiation Oncology and Chemotherapy from Sheffield University, UK, and is a registered doctor with the General Medical Council (GMC) in the UK.
He is a Clinical Fellow and Specialist Physician in Radiation and Chemotherapy Oncology in the United Kingdom – Clinical Fellow in Clinical Oncology / UK.
