On the path to completing the Alnoor Center for Cultural Heritage Research, a ministerial committee visits Alnoor University

Alnoor University is keen to dedicate a significant part of its academic focus to preserving the heritage of Nineveh. It aims to revive this heritage and enrich the studies related to it. To this end, the university has initiated the establishment of the Alnoor Center for Cultural Heritage Preservation. It selected for the center a location in the heart of the old city. In order to obtain approval from the Ministry of Higher Education, the ministry dispatched a special committee to Alnoor University. The committee was tasked with examining the readiness of the site. It also reviewed the presence of a specialized staff. And it evaluated the center’s contents and the technologies used to ensure its success. The committee met with relevant officials at the university — including the president, the assistant, and the appointed personnel. Then, the committee moved to the site of the center to inspect it. It reviewed its components within the old city.
