Alnoor University Welcomes the Lamassu Archaeological Organization Team

Dr. Bashar Mahmoud Ali, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Alnoor University, along withProfessor Dr. Ismail Abdulwahhab Ismail Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs,Asst. Prof. Mohammed Zuhair Zaidan Director of the Department of Cultural Relations, and Dr. Nabeel Nooruddin Hussein, Director of the Alnoor Center for Heritage Preservation,
welcomed the president and members of the Lamassu Archaeological Organization team. The parties agreed on Alnoor University’s support for the team’s voluntary and archaeological activities, and on the importance of launching awareness campaigns about the value of heritage and antiquities in Nineveh Governorate in service of the local population.
At the end of the meeting, the Lamassu team presented a bouquet of flowers to Alnoor University as a token of appreciation for the university’s efforts in supporting antiquities, heritage, and the community.
