The Deputy Minister of Higher Education for Scientific Research Affairs inaugurates the Alnoor Center for Cultural Heritage Preservation at Alnoor University.
The Old City of Mosul witnessed, on the afternoon of Saturday, July 19, 2025, the inauguration of the Alnoor Center for Cultural Heritage Preservation, affiliated with Al-Noor University. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Professor Dr. Haider Abdul-Dhahad, Deputy Minister of Higher Education for Scientific Research Affairs. Accompanying him were Prof. Dr. Yaseen Taha Alhajjar, The President of Alnoor University and Dr. Bashar Mahmoud Ali, the inauguration ceremony commenced with a tour of the University's Mosuli Heritage Museum, which features authentic displays of tools, equipment, and historical documents dating back more than a century, faithfully portraying the daily life and cultural heritage of the people of Mosul. This was followed by the official opening of the Alnoor Center for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Professor Dr. Ismail Abdulwahhab Ismail Assistant President of Alnoor University for Scientific Affairs.Dr. Nabeel Ahmed Jarjees And Dr. Nabeel Ahmed Jarjees, the Administrative Assistant to the University President.
