The Head of the Department of Archaeology at the University of Duhok visits Alnoor University at the beginning of a new path for scientific collaboration.

As part of enhancing academic cooperation in fields related to societal life and the promotion of heritage culture, Dr. Zhiyar Sadiq Al-Doski, Head of the Department of Archaeology at the University of Duhok, visited Alnoor University on the morning of Wednesday, July 30, 2025. She met with Dr. Bashar Mahmoud Ali, Chairman of the Board of Trustees. She then held a series of meetings with Professor Dr. Ismail Abdul Wahab, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, and Dr. Mohammed Zuhair Zidan, Director of Cultural Relations, and Dr. Nabeel Nour Al-Din, Director of the Al-Noor Center for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage. The discussions focused on cooperation between the two universities in the field of archaeological tourism, the dissemination of culture related to cultural heritage, organizing scientific activities, and involving students from corresponding departments in both universities in training courses and actual fieldwork. Later, Alnoor Radio conducted an interview with Dr. Zhiyar Al-Doski on topics related to her field of specialization.
