The Head of the Department of Archaeology at the University of Duhok visits Alnoor University at the beginning of a new path for scientific collaboration.

As part of its efforts to strengthen academic cooperation in fields that contribute to community development and to promote cultural heritage awareness, Alnoor University welcomed Dr. Zhyar Sadiq Aldoski, Head of the Department of Archaeology at the University of Duhok, on the morning of Wednesday, July 30, 2025. During her visit, Dr. Aldoski met with Dr. Bashar Mahmoud Ali, after which she held a series of meetings with Professor Dr. Ismail Abdulwahab, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs; Dr. Mohammed Zuhair Zaidan, Director of Cultural Relations; and Dr. Nabil Nour Aldin, Director of the Alnoor Center for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage. The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between the two universities in the fields of archaeological tourism, the dissemination of knowledge related to cultural heritage, the organization of joint scientific activities, and the involvement of students from corresponding departments at both institutions in training courses and practical fieldwork. At the conclusion of the visit, Alnoor Radio conducted an interview with Dr. Zhyar Aldoski, during which she discussed a range of topics related to her field of specialization.
