Alnoor University and Lamassu Organization Sign a Memorandum of Understanding in the Field of Heritage Preservation and Cultural Awareness
As part of Alnoor University's commitment to community service and its engagement with initiatives aimed at preserving cultural heritage, a scientific and academic Memorandum of Understanding was signed today between Alnoor University and the Lamassu Organization for Culture.
Under this agreement, Lamassu Organization has been recognized as the archaeological partner representing Alnoor University.
The memorandum was signed by Professor Dr. Ismail Abdul Wahab, Assistant President of Alnoor University for Scientific Affairs, on behalf of Alnoor University, and Dr. Omar Jassam, President of the Lamassu Organization for Culture.
The signing ceremony was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Zuhair, Director of Cultural Relations at Al-Noor University; Dr. Hind Fakhri, Advisor to the Lamassu Organization; and several members of the organization.
The memorandum includes several provisions that regulate the collaboration between the two parties in the fields of archaeology, cultural heritage preservation, training and capacity building, scientific research, and field archaeological excavations.
