A new research study by a faculty member from Alnoor University published in an international journal.

Dr. Sadiq Bakr Murai, a faculty member at Alnoor University, has published a new scientific research paper titled:
“Identification of phenolic compounds in Aleppo Oak-apple and study its effect on Types of Bacteria and Candida”
in the International Journal of Health and Medicine
The study addressed the detection of phenolic compounds in Aleppo oak fruits (oak-apple) and examined their effect on certain types of bacteria and the fungus *Candida*, highlighting the medical and pharmaceutical importance of these compounds due to their antimicrobial properties, which opens new prospects for their use in therapeutic applications.
