Istanbul University – Cerrahpaşa as a scientific partner in the establishment of Alnoor Center for Medical and Pharmaceutical Research

At the official invitation of Istanbul University – Cerrahpaşa in Turkey a delegation from Alnoor University headed by Dr. Ismail Abdulwahhab IsmailAssistant to the University President for Scientific Affairs, and membership Dr. Mohammed Zuhair Zaidan The Director of Cultural Relations and Dr. Nabil Nour Al-Din, Director of the Alnoor Center for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage — this university is in the city of Istanbul

 During the visit the delegation met with a number of university officials, where a preliminary agreement was reached on the following Allocating three postgraduate study seats for students from the medical group departments at Alnoor University Providing summer training opportunities for a group of the university’s students. Enhancing research cooperation between the scientific centers at both universities. Sending Turkish doctors and experts from Cerrahpaşa University to provide clinical training for Alnoor University students. Transferring Turkish expertise in the field of smart health, which Alnoor University intends to establish a specialized academic department for Recognizing Cerrahpaşa University as and academic partner in the scientific and training management of the Alnoor Medical and Pharmaceutical Research Center, which is expected to complete its requirements soon. Granting students and faculty members of the university conditional access to the university’s digital library platform.
This meeting comes as part of Alnoor University's commitment to building solid international academic partnerships that open broader horizons for its students and academics in research, training, and development. The two universities signed a Letter of Intent for joint scientific cooperation.
It is worth noting that Cerrahpaşa University was originally a part of Istanbul University, before the Faculties of Medicine and Engineering separated from it and were formed under its current name. It is a reputable university ranked seventh at the national level in Turkey, and is also listed in the Shanghai global ranking.
