On the afternoon of Wednesday, October 1st, a virtual meeting was held via the "Zoom" platform between representatives of Alnoor University in Iraq and Paris 8 University in France. During the meeting, ways and prospects of scientific and academic cooperation between the two sides were discussed.

The joint meeting discussed mechanisms for enhancing academic cooperation, including the exchange of students, faculty members, and researchers, as well as supporting the research centers at Alnoor University, particularly the Linguistics Center and the Center for Continuing Education.
The meeting also paid special attention to the establishment of the legal clinic at the Faculty of Law at Alnoor University, in cooperation with its counterpart at the University of Paris 8. It is worth noting that this concept was first introduced at the Faculty of Law at Paris 8 and later spread to many universities around the world. In this context, Alnoor University had previously hosted Professor Sophie Moulinié from the University of Paris 8, where she delivered a specialized lecture on the French experience in this field.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties affirmed their commitment to establishing short-, medium-, and long-term scientific and cultural cooperation programs, with a particular focus on the fields of: law, languages, digital media, and artificial intelligence technologies.
