The Minister of Higher Education honors Alnoor University in recognition of its pioneering role in volunteer work

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Alaboudi, honored Alnoor University during the First Conference on Volunteer Work 2025, in appreciation of its pioneering efforts in promoting the culture of volunteering and community service. The event was attended by the Head of the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Authority, university presidents, the President of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, and a number of professors and students.

The minister affirmed in his speech that Iraqi universities have become a model to be emulated in promoting the values of social responsibility, praising the voluntary initiatives carried out by the university, which have contributed to supporting the community and fostering the spirit of giving among students.

This honor came as a culmination of a journey rich in giving and humanitarian initiatives launched by Alnoor University, which have made it a shining example in the field of community service and purposeful education.

At the conclusion of the conference’s activities, Alnoor University was awarded the official Shield of Honor by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in recognition of its distinguished status among Iraqi universities and its pioneering role in instilling the values of volunteerism and national belonging.
