The dangers of drugs in an educational seminar at Alnoor University

The Human Rights Division organized in ,College of Law At Alnoor University, an educational seminar was held on the morning of Saturday, 25/10/2025, on raising awareness about the dangers of drugs and their impact on the individual and society. The seminar was supervised by Lecturer Qaidar Ahmed Mahmoud, a faculty member in the College of Law, and included participation from several specialists in the psychological and legal aspects of the drug problem
presented Dr. Ahmed Saeed Rashid The head of the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance gave a lecture discussing the psychological effects of drugs on the user, and what they cause in terms of behavioral and health disorders that negatively affect the person’s life and future
As presented Dr. aamer hadi The lecturer at the College of Law focused on international experiences in combating drug trafficking crimes, reviewing the most prominent legislations and strategies adopted by countries to limit the spread of this scourge. This seminar comes as part of a series of awareness activities aimed at enhancing legal and health culture among students, and at reducing the spread of dangerous behaviors that threaten the security of society and the safety of its members.
