The delegation of the Nineveh Provincial Council is hosted by Alnoor University

On Monday morning, December 1, 2025, Alnoor University received an official delegation from the Nineveh Provincial Council, headed by Dr. Sarah Moayad Aljubouri, Chair of the Youth and Sports Committee, and Dr. Fahd Salih Dhiab, Director of the Citizens’ Affairs Department, accompanied by a number of council staff members The visit came as part of the joint effort to open new avenues of cooperation between the university and government institutions in the province The delegation met with Dr. Bashar Mahmoud, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, who accompanied them on an organized tour to become acquainted with the university’s current situation
During the meeting, the two parties exchanged views on ways to strengthen the partnership in a manner that serves the local community and enhances the reality of institutional work. The two sides discussed the possibility of unifying efforts in the fields of training, building employee capacities, developing knowledge, and providing scientific and technical support, in line with Alnoor University’s orientation toward serving the community and the Provincial Council’s efforts to advance the skills of its staff

As the mutual benefit from the expertise of both parties was emphasized; the university, with its academic and research competencies, is capable of supporting government departments through studies, consultations, and training, while the Council serves as a key partner in enabling developmental programs and facilitating the implementation of initiatives that contribute to improving services within the governorate

The delegation of the Provincial Council expressed its appreciation for the scientific and professional role played by Alnoor University, while the university affirmed its keenness to continue cooperation and open practical avenues that serve students, staff, and the community alike.
