The Scientific Advisor of Alnoor University gives a lecture on selecting the appropriate journal for publication in a hybrid in-person and onlin workshop

As part of the scientific workshop series on research, Professor Dr. Munir Salem Al-Badrani, the Scientific Advisor at Alnoor University, delivered a specialized scientific lecture on Monday, 22/12/2025, entitled:
 How to choose the appropriate journal for publishing scientific research), in a hybrid (in-person and online) workshop
The lecture covered a series of key topics relevant to researchers and postgraduate students, including the criteria for selecting reputable journals, mechanisms for verifying impact factors, the importance of avoiding predatory journals, as well as an explanation of the differences between international and local journals and internationally recognized publication requirements
Dr. Badrani also outlined practical steps to help researchers increase the chances of their scientific work being accepted, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the ethics of scientific publishing as well as maintaining high standards of methodology and academic language
The workshop witnessed extensive engagement from faculty members and researchers, who enriched the lecture with their scientific inputs and questions, within the framework of Alnoor University's efforts to support the scientific research journey and elevate academic output according to international standards.
