On the afternoon of Wednesday, December 24, 2025, the Council of Alnoor University received a high-level scientific delegation from Gulf College in the Sultanate of Oman, in the presence of Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Alattar, President of the Northern Technical University, and,Professor Dr. Yassin Taha Alhajjar, President of Alnoor University, and Dr. Bashar Mahmoud Ali, Chairman of the University Board of Trustees
During the meeting, discussions were exchanged regarding the current state of higher education in the Iraqi and Omani universities, and prospects for joint cooperation were explored in the fields of study, scientific research, and innovation, in a manner that contributes to strengthening academic partnerships and exchanging scientific expertise between the two institutions
Both sides affirmed the importance of expanding future areas of cooperation in ways that serve students and researchers, contribute to elevating the scientific and research level, and strengthen academic openness among Arab universities.
