Alnoor University has achieved a qualitative advancement and an important indicator in global, Arab, and local rankings, particularly in the 2025 Arab University Ranking, affirming its growing academic presence and its standing among Iraqi and Arab universities.
The university ranked first among private universities in Nineveh Governorate, and third among both public and private universities in the governorate. It also attained eighth place out of 32 Iraqi private universities and colleges, and twenty-eighth place out of 63 Iraqi public and private universities and colleges, in addition to achieving 143rd place out of 236 Arab universities and colleges
This ranking is based on a set of approved indicators that include the quality of education and learning, scientific research, creativity, entrepreneurship and innovation, as well as local and international collaboration, in addition to community service. This reflects the continuous efforts made by Alnoor University to develop its academic programs and enhance its educational and research environment
This achievement is considered the fruit of the university’s strategic vision and its continuous pursuit to elevate the scientific and academic level in a way that keeps pace with the requirements of higher education and strengthens its position on the map of Arab universities.
