A faculty member at Alnoor University participates in an international oncology conference

Dr. Tareq Ahmed Abed, a faculty member in the Department of Radiology Techniques, participated in College of Health and Medical Technologies, At Alnoor University, during the Best of ESMO Levant 2026 conference of the European Society for Medical Oncology, held in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq, for two days starting on 12/2/2026
The latest research and key recommendations for the diagnosis and treatment of cancerous tumors were presented.
It is noted that Dr. Tareq Ahmed Abed is a specialist physician in radiation oncology in the United Kingdom, holding a master’s degree with distinction from the University of London. He also earned a PhD in oncology from the University of Sheffield, UK, and worked as a researcher in radiation studies in Germany. He is a licensed physician registered with the British Medical Council (GMC).
