Professor Dr. Aqeel Alaaraji, President of University of Tal Afar, visits Alnoor University and signs a twinning and scientific cooperation agreement between the two universities

Professor Dr. Aqeel Yahya Alaaraji, President of the University of Tal Afar, was a guest on Thursday noon, 19/2/2026, on the program Noor Alfarqad, which is prepared and presented by the media broadcaster Farqad Malko and aired on Alnoor FM Radio, in his first visit to Alnoor University after assuming the presidency of the University of Tal Afar, where he met with Prof. Dr. Yaseen Taha Alhajjar, President of Alnoor University, Dr. Bashar Mahmood Ali, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Professor Dr. Ismail Abdulwahhab Ismail The Scientific Assistant to the University President, and discussions were held on the details of the higher education sector’s academic progress and the prospects for cooperation between the two universities. The meeting culminated in the signing of a twinning and scientific cooperation agreement between the two universities, signed by their respective presidents, in a manner that enhances communication and integration between them and provides additional opportunities for higher education in the governorate.
