Professor Dr. Munir Albadrani delivers a lecture on the identity of the scientific researcher

With the attendance of the Scientific Assistant to the President of Alnoor University and the deans Colleges of Pharmacy ,Education ,Applied Arts, As part of the series of scientific lectures aimed at promoting a research culture at Alnoor University, Professor Dr. Munir Salim Al-Badrani, the University’s Scientific Advisor, delivered a scientific lecture—both in person and online—on Sunday morning, 22/2/2026, entitled “The Identity of the Scientific Researcher
The lecture addressed the concept of research identity and its importance in building a solid academic character. It also outlined the foundations upon which a researcher should base their scientific career, including adherence to research ethics, achieving originality and academic rigor, and ultimately establishing an academic reputation grounded in robust scholarly output.
Professor Albadrani also highlighted the importance of publishing in peer-reviewed scientific journals, activating accredited academic profiles, and developing research skills in line with global developments, emphasizing that a researcher’s identity is not built on degrees alone, but on continuity and impactful scholarly contribution.
The lecture was attended by a number of faculty members and researchers, in addition to active online participation. It featured interventions and questions that enriched the scholarly dialogue and reinforced the lecture’s objectives of establishing a well-grounded research culture within the university.
