A new seminar in the Department of Civil Engineering at Alnoor University on water treatment methods

The Department of Civil Engineering held College of Engineering At Alnoor University, on the morning of Saturday, 28/2/2026, a scientific workshop entitled (Water Treatment Methods and Their Impact on the Environment) was held, with the attendance of a number of the college’s faculty members and students.
supervised the organization of the workshop Professor Dr. Saad Altaan The Dean of the College of Engineering attended the session, which was delivered by Dr. Diaa Aldin Ata Allah, a lecturer in the department. He reviewed the most prominent modern technologies in water treatment and explained their role in reducing pollution and preserving water resources.
The workshop addressed the mechanisms of physical, chemical, and biological treatment, in addition to highlighting the environmental impact of treatment plants and the ways to develop them in line with sustainability standards and environmental protection.
This event is part of the series of scientific activities organized by the College of Engineering at Alnoor University, aiming to raise environmental awareness among students and connect theoretical aspects with practical applications in engineering fields. The workshop was attended by Dr. Nizar Abdul Latif, Dean of the College of Applied Arts.
