The SCImago ranking is considered one of the most prominent global classifications that evaluate the performance of universities and research centers based on three main pillars: Research Performance, Innovation Outputs, and Societal Impact. It relies on precise quantitative indicators, including the number of scientific publications, citation counts, international collaboration, and patents, in addition to the institution’s digital presence.
The inclusion of Alnoor University in this ranking represents a strategic step that strengthens its position on the map of higher education and scientific research both regionally and internationally. It affirms the university’s commitment to enhancing the quality of scholarly publications, encouraging researchers to produce robust knowledge, and fostering openness to global research partnerships.
