The Department of Anesthesia Techniques at University of Noor organizes a lecture on angina pectoris

The Department of Anesthesia Techniques organized College of Health and Medical Technologies, At Alnoor University, on the morning of Tuesday, 17/3/2026, a scientific lecture on angina pectoris was held. It was chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Firas Mahmoud Ibrahim, and delivered by Lecturer Zuheir Saeed Mohammed.
The lecture addressed the definition of angina pectoris, its causes, and the associated risk factors, in addition to the symptoms that patients may experience, such as chest pain and shortness of breath. It also clarified modern diagnostic methods and the therapeutic approaches used to manage this condition.
The lecturer also addressed the importance of health awareness and the prevention of cardiovascular diseases through adopting a healthy lifestyle that includes proper nutrition, regular physical activity, and avoiding harmful habits. He emphasized the role of medical staff in diagnosing cases and managing them correctly.
The lecture was attended by a number of faculty members from the department and its students, who engaged with its topics by asking questions and making academic contributions that enriched the discussion and enhanced its scientific value.
