On the occasion of World Medication Adherence Day, the College of Pharmacy at Alnoor University is organizing a medication adherence initiative

In the presence of ,Professor Dr. Yassin Taha Alhajjar, The President of Alnoor University and Dr. Bashar Mahmoud Ali, Chairman of the Board of Directors, held College of Pharmacy At Alnoor University, on the morning of Saturday 28/3/2026, a special scientific seminar was launched on the occasion of World Medication Adherence Day. Dr. Omer Qutaiba BaderAldeen Allela The Dean of the College, through the Alnoor Initiative for Medication Adherence, delivered its main lecture as a step aimed at enhancing awareness of the importance of adhering to medication and its role in improving patients’ health outcomes.

This initiative is led by an elite group of Iraqi pharmacists, with active participation from pharmacy students in public and private universities and colleges across Iraq, reflecting a spirit of cooperation and joint work aimed at improving the healthcare situation and promoting proper pharmaceutical awareness within society.

A scientific symposium was held, during which the Alnoor Initiative for Medication Adherence was launched. The event was attended by the Assistant Scientific Vice President of Alnoor University, the Deans of the Colleges of Pharmacy at the University of Mosul and the University of Ninevah, the Head of the Pharmacy Department at Alqabas Private College, and the Media Advisor of Alnoor University.
