Alnoor University held a distinguished academic event on Thursday, April 2, 2026, by hosting Dr. Hanaa Albanna, a prominent expert and academic in the fields of social responsibility, sustainability, and international development. She is regarded as an influential global voice in the Sustainable Development Goals. During the event, Dr. Albanna delivered a scientific lecture entitled (Sustainability in Higher Education) in which she addressed the importance of integrating Sustainable Development Goals into university strategies and curricula, as well as the role of higher education institutions in leading the transition toward more sustainable societies. This hosting comes as part of the university’s efforts to enhance academic awareness of global sustainability issues and to engage with leading international expertise in order to develop the educational environment.
