Alnoor University Continues the Volunteer Psychological First Aid Team Preparation Program for the Second Day
The Department of Clinical Psychology continued to College of arts, At Alnoor University, the activities of the second day of the first training course for preparing members of the Volunteer Psychological First Aid Team were conducted as part of a training program aimed at preparing qualified students to provide psychological first aid in accordance with established scientific principles and standards. The program seeks to strengthen the university’s role in serving the community and enhancing humanitarian response during crises and emergencies.
The second day’s sessions witnessed remarkable engagement from the participants. The training covered the concept and objectives of Psychological First Aid (PFA), as well as the fundamental principles for interacting with individuals affected by crises. The sessions also focused on developing effective communication skills, supportive listening, and providing psychological support in a manner that preserves individuals’ dignity and takes into account their psychological and humanitarian needs.
