Assistant Dean of the College of Pharmacy at Alnoor University Chairs a Doctoral Dissertation Defense Committee at the University of Mosul

Professor Dr. Shaker Mahmoud Saeed, Assistant Dean, chaired College of Pharmacy the Scientific Affairs Assistant at Alnoor University, on the morning of Tuesday, September 1, 2026, chaired the PhD thesis defense committee for doctoral student Mohammed Hani Younis, whose thesis was submitted to the Department of Chemistry at the College of Education for Pure Sciences, University of Mosul.
The thesis was entitled (Preparation and Characterization of Metal Complexes from Heterocyclic Compounds and Evaluation of Their Biological Activity.) It addressed an important scientific topic in the field of chemistry and its biological applications, contributing to the advancement of scientific research and specialized studies.
At the conclusion of the discussion, and in recognition of his academic participation and efforts, the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Mosul presented Professor Dr. Shakir Mahmoud Saeed with a Certificate of Appreciation, in recognition of his role and active participation in the work of the discussion committee.
This participation reflects the distinguished scientific and academic presence of Alnoor University’s faculty members, as well as their ongoing contributions to supporting postgraduate studies and scientific research and strengthening academic cooperation among Iraqi universities.
