Participation of Al-Noor University College in the joint convention between the Ministries of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Center and the Region.

"Dr. Yassin Taha Al-Hajjar, the Assistant Dean of Al-Noor University College, participated in an extended meeting between the Federal Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Higher Education in the Region. During this meeting, an agreement was reached to mutually recognize all Iraqi private universities affiliated with the central government, including Al-Noor University College. An official letter will be issued and circulated to all regional institutions.
Various common issues were discussed, and a joint roadmap for future collaboration was agreed upon, emphasizing the continued support and development of all aspects of higher education.
The two parties addressed several contentious points and agreed on ways to resolve them, including the signing of a memorandum of cooperation and the necessity of unifying the structures of education.
Both parties stressed the importance of unifying the structures of education in Iraq, merging them, and discussing and crystallizing the project of an accreditation body to evaluate university institutions in the central and regional areas.
The meeting also discussed expanding joint scientific work and organizing conferences, seminars, and workshops to establish a constructive working base benefiting educational institutions in both regions. Additionally, it focused on developing scientific programs and outlining the broad lines of joint work strategy for the future.
