The thesis discussed on Sunday morning 16/1/2022, dealt with the application of Venuti’s translation strategies in translating “Heart of Darkness” Novel of the international writer Joseph Conrad into Arabic.
It concluded that the difference in culture and language between Arabic and English, especially in the field of literature, could result in many problems in the translation process, so the translator should decide which strategy or method he should adopt to bridge this gap and convey the meaning effectively.
