Al-Noor University College announced the inauguration of Al-Noor FM Radio in Mosul on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at the college’s location in the Shalalat area of Mosul.
The inauguration was attended by the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Ahmed Fakak, the Governor of Nineveh, Mr. Najm al-Jubouri, Qatari media personality Khaled Jassem, pioneering media figure Amal al-Mudaris, media personality Sultan al-Omani, media personality Nidal Ali Hassoun, artist Khalil Ibrahim, artist Zuhair Mohammed Rashid, sculptor Ahmed al-Bahrani, writer Mufid Abbas, and Captain Noor Sabri. The official broadcast of the radio was announced with the voice of the pioneering media figure Amal al-Mudaris. Al-Noor FM Radio is considered the first university radio station in Nineveh Governorate that focuses on scientific and social topics."
