Alnoor University sponsored the 65th anniversary celebration of the founding of Al-Futooh Sports Club.

In the presence of Nineveh Governor, Mr. Abdul Qader Al-Dakhil, Alnoor University sponsored the central celebration of Al-Futooh Sports Club, held to mark the 65th anniversary of the club's founding, which is considered one of the oldest sports clubs in Nineveh. The celebration was attended by Professor Dr. Yaseen Taha Al-Hajjar , President of Alnoor University, and Dr. Bashar Mahmood Ali, Chairman of the University’s Board of Directors. The event coincided with the anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi Army on Monday, January 6, 2025, and was graced by the presence of prominent sports figures who recall the club's remarkable achievements in the history of sports competitions. During the celebration, the club awarded the 65th Anniversary Plaque to the President of Alnoor University and the Chairman of its Board of Directors.
