A delegation from the Nineveh Office of the General Directorate for Combating Intellectual Terrorism
visited Alnoor University on the morning of Thursday, February 13, 2025. The delegation included Mr. Abdulrahman, Deputy Director; Mr. Ali Jajan, Head of Public Relations and Media; and Mr. Kadhem Faisal, Head of the Intellectual Dialogue Unit at the university.
They were received by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdulwahhab Assistant President of Al-Noor University for Scientific Affairs, in his office.
During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to enhance joint efforts in community awareness and education, as well as mechanisms for instilling positive values among university students through specialized seminars and awareness lectures.
Dr. Ismail Abdulwahhab emphasized the university’s commitment to supporting efforts to combat intellectual terrorism, highlighting the crucial role of universities in safeguarding society and promoting moderate thinking through diverse educational programs.
This visit reflects the shared commitment of both institutions to strengthening cooperation, coordinating efforts to protect social cohesion, and enhancing intellectual awareness, particularly among youth and university students.
